Wisteria's are great for a "grape like" display of fragrant flowers in Spring. Full sun to half day sun is ideal for this perennial. Drought tolerant in the ground once established or can take regular garden water. Vines can become invasive and have major surface roots overtime. Not recommended for small planters or near foundations. Deciduous in Winter, flowers will usually appear before the leaves in late Winter early Spring. Great for containers or can be used as a bonzai. Prune hard in late Spring after Bloom and Fall. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
